
The Anderson Student Association (ASA) cabinet is a group of 2nd year MBA students elected by their peers. The cabinet and its supporting committees are responsible for organizing a wide variety of programs, resources and events that play an integral part in shaping the unique Anderson culture. The ASA officers also interface frequently with faculty, alumni and staff on a regular basis to ensure that the voice of the Anderson student is considered in decisions that affect student life.

Forrest Kragten President
Forrest is specializing in entrepreneurship and finance at UCLA Anderson. As President of the ASA, he serves as head of the ASA Council and student liaison to the Anderson Board of Visitors, Alumni Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Forrest is active in a number of organizations including the Investment Finance Club, Entrepreneur Association, Vistage, Wine Club, and Project Echo. Previously, Forrest was a private equity investor at Endeavour Capital, a middle market buyout firm focused on the western U.S. Prior to joining Endeavour, he was an investment banking analyst with Lehman Brothers. Forrest graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting. In his free time, Forrest enjoys mountain biking and pick-up basketball games.

Rory Berry
Executive Vice President
Rory is focusing on entrepreneurship, clean technology and marketing while at UCLA Anderson. As EVP of ASA, he oversees internal ASA committees and is responsible for running ASA Council meetings and elections. His goals while in office are to improve Anderson's sustainability efforts and to make the ASA as streamlined as possible. In addition to his duties as EVP, Rory is very involved with the Management Development for Entrepreneurs (MDE) Program, the Entrepreneur's Association, the Anderson Military Club, and Net Impact. Before coming to Anderson, Rory served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy and worked as an Internet Marketer at Adteractive, Inc. Rory's summer internship will involve working in Brand Management for the Kashi Company in La Jolla, California. Rory received his B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University and enjoys surfing, salsa dancing, backpacking and volleyball.

Clara Park Vice President, External Affairs
Clara Park is a class of 2009. During her 1st yr, She has founded Anderson Automotive Association, launched to become the premier MBA automotive club of the west coast. She has also founded Entrepreneur Mentorship Program, now federally funded, bringing mutiple organizations together to support low income entrepreneurs in the community. She also serves as the VP External Affairs for ASA, President of Korean Business Student Association, mentor for Riordan Scholars, VP of Asian Management Student Association. Prior to Anderson, she worked as a project manager at Stanford University during the daytime. She specialized in troubled projects, structuring & training teams, developing marketing strategies, and revamping operations. At nights, she took auto mechanics courses and leadership seminars, and on weekends, mentored disabled people. She is also a black belt in martial art and a licensed private pilot. Clara received her BA in Neurobiology & Behavior with Minor in Architecture from Cornell University, with full scholarship.

Leah Caldadron
Vice President, Academic Affairs
Bio: Leah is specializing in Strategy and Finance at UCLA Anderson. As VP of Academic Affairs, she is responsible for working with students, faculty, and the administration to maximize the academic experience at UCLA Anderson. Leah also participates in the Management Consulting Association and Entrepreneurs Association. Prior to business school, she worked in the Chicago office of Bain & Company on a variety of strategy consulting cases, and subsequently worked for the RAND Corporation on policy research projects in Health and National Security. Leah will be working in the Los Angeles office of Bain & Company this summer. Leah attended Pomona College and earned dual degrees in Mathematics and English Literature. Her interests include yoga, running, and studying Russian language.

Zoe Tanaka
Vice President, Student Affairs
Zoe is focusing on Strategy and Finance at UCLA Anderson. As VP of Student Affairs, she oversees all club activities, including formation, event organization, and operations. Zoe is also a board member for Women¡¯s Business Connection, Challenge-4-Charity, and a mentor for the Riordan Scholars Program. Prior to business school, Zoe worked as an equity research analyst at Delaware Investments (the investment management subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group) in Philadelphia, PA. Over the summer, Zoe will work in management consulting as a summer associate for Bain & Co. in Los Angeles. Zoe was born and raised in Honolulu, HI, and graduated from Yale University with a bachelor¡¯s degree in International Studies and Spanish. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and playing sports.

Oksana Hickok
Vice President, Finance
Oksana is specializing in Strategy and Operations at UCLA Anderson. As VP of Finance, she is responsible for all budgeting and finance-related issues. Oksana is also an active member of Management Consulting Association, Strategic Operations Management Association, High Tech Business Association and Women Business Connection. Prior to business school, she worked in the Moscow office of Intel Corporation in the field of global strategic sourcing and supplier management. This summer Oksana will be working in the San Fransico office of Archstone Consulting. She earned her undergraduate degree in Russia, at a Far Eastern State University, majoring in Economics. Her interests include fitness, reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Sungmoon Cho
Vice President, Information Technology
Sungmoon Cho is focusing on marketing and finance at UCLA Anderson. As VP of IT, he is responsible for addressing the communication and technology needs of students between ASA, ACIS and the faculty IT committee. Besides his role as VP of IT, Sungmoon is also VP of External in KBSA, IS Student Associate and EA Conference panel organizer. He is an active member of High-Tech Business Association and Entrepreneur Association. Prior to Anderson, he worked at a Korean mobile game developer, Gamevil, which he joined as a founding member while in college. He holds bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University. Outside of work and study, he enjoys exchanging ideas with friends, swimming, and traveling abroad.

David Eckardt
Vice President, Ethics
Dave is focusing on operations and consulting at UCLA Anderson. As ASA Vice President of Ethics, he serves as the representative for professional conduct and behavior among students at all Anderson functions and in their daily activities. While VP of Ethics, Dave looks to strengthen the Anderson brand name by utilizing the principles set forth in the students' Honor Code. Dave is also the VP of Internal Affairs for the Anderson Military Club, and is a member of the Outdoor Business Association and Anderson Running and Tri Club. This summer, Dave will intern at International Lease Finance Corporation, the leader in aerospace leasing and finance, rotating through various departments. Dave graduated with Distinction from The United States Naval Academy earning his Bachelor's of Science degree in Quantitative Economics and a minor in Spanish. As an active duty Naval Officer, Dave will start Naval Flight School upon graduating from UCLA. In his spare time, he is also a pony league baseball coach and will coach the league's All-Star team this summer. Dave enjoys all sports, running, and especially flying.
