Jeremy Wasser currently leads mobile product management for DISH Network's recently acquired Blockbuster business unit. He has over 10 years of product strategy, development, marketing, and operations experience in digital media, managing 8-figure P&L's while defining and delivering both revenue-generating and value-added products and services across desktop / web, 10-foot / CE, and mobile platforms for companies such as DISH / Blockbuster, Sprint / Virgin Mobile, Helio, and Warner Bros.
A recognized mobile industry leader in digital media, social networking, and
user-generated content services, Jeremy has launched a number of industry firsts. While at Helio, Jeremy led the team which designed and launched the mobile industry's first-ever fully integrated YouTube application to include a full suite of personalization and community functionality while allowing customers to stream tens of millions of YouTube videos on their phones. In addition, while at Virgin Mobile, Jeremy led the team which launched the mobile industry's first social networking dashboard service to aggregate friend updates and activity from Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, and Flickr in one easy-to-use interface, Virgin Mobile Connect (2009 Mobile Excellence Awards winner for 'Best Mobile Social Network').
Jeremy graduated with Honors from the University of Miami in 1997 with Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Music, and earned an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2005.
