Developing Women Leaders in University Administration
A three-day program that supports the development of the next generation of women leaders in higher education administration.

Banco Santander has created the W30 Program: Developing Women Leaders in University Administration in partnership with UCLA Anderson Executive Education to prepare women in university administration for leadership positions of increasing responsibility as the higher education landscape evolves.
Santander’s purpose in launching the program is to strengthen its relationship with the Santander Universities Network and to establish Santander as an advocate of women seeking to advance in higher education administration by providing them with career development and psychological support. Participants selected from the Santander Universities Network will be given the tools, training and knowledge to expand their leadership capabilities and hone their personal leadership styles.

By successfully completing this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the unique skills and experience needed to lead effectively and advance in the university setting

- Gain awareness of the skills required to effectively navigate organizations
- Build networking capabilities and develop a plan for growing mentor relationships
Who Sould Attend?
The Banco Santander W30 Program is designed for women working in academic administration at the director level and higher, or female faculty with administrative responsibilities, who have already achieved substantial success and who demonstrate outstanding potential for further advancement. The high potential of these women can be recognized in their strength of character, motivation and commitment to both personal and organizational goals. Their leadership capacity is demonstrated by professional, volunteer and other activities, as well as through their university employment.
