Electronic resources, or databases, are covered by licenses limiting access to academic use by UCLA faculty, staff, and current UCLA students, with some limited to Anderson School use only. Please also read the UCLA Library policy on Appropriate Use of Licensed Electronic Resources. Violations of the University's contractual agreements with electronic resources vendors can and do result in the suspension of access to those resources for the entire UCLA community.

Research reports and expert analysis for all areas of information technology. Particularly useful are such specialized Gartner analyses as their Magic Quadrants and MarketScopes (evaluations of vendors within specific markets), and Hype Cycles for specific products, applications, technologies, and services.

GDF (Global Development Finance) Online (World Bank)
Time series statistical data for over 200 debt and financial flows indicators for 138 countries that report public and publicly-guaranteed debt to the World Bank. Data covers 1970 to 2011, where available.
A comprehensive career resource with information on 80,000+ U.S. and international companies. Glassdoor includes salary and bonuses and details for specific jobs at specific companies, as well as actual interview questions and hiring process details. Also included are reviews written by employees that highlight the pros and cons of working for a particular employer--the corporate culture, and "what it's really like to work there." Users from the domain do not need to "Sign Up by Posting a Salary or Review" (though doing so is anonymous).

Global Books in Print
Publication details and ordering information for books in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming, as well as audio and video publications. Also provides inventory data, awards information, and full-text reviews. Searchable by author, title, keyword, ISBN.

Global Financial Data
Current and historical economic and financial data--more than 32,000 current data series, covering over 200 countries; many series are from hundreds of years ago. Easy graphing and downloading is provided. UCLA users click on Login Anonymously button for access.

HFR Database (WRDS) Connect via Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) and/or
Hedge fund-level detail on historical performance and assets, plus firm characteristics on the broadest and most influential hedge fund managers. The HFR Database is currently comprised of over 6,800 hedge funds and fund of funds. It includes over 70 data fields encompassing administrative, performance, assets, instruments, and regions fund data. With performance dating to 1990, the HFRI Fund Weighted Composite Index is the industry's standard benchmark of hedge fund performance.

Use this resource to compare a company's operating results with those of specific competitors or its industry as a whole. Ratios are available for the most current three fiscal years.
