Provides real-time and historical financial market data and economic data, analysis, and news worldwide.

Covers global securities markets, including equities, money markets, currencies, municipal securities, corporate/Euro/Sovereign bonds, commodities, mortgage-backed securities, derivatives and government securities, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and audio and video interviews and presentations by key players in business and finance. Data may be downloaded to Excel via the Applications Program Interface (API).

 

If you are having problems connecting to a database, please check the following:

  1. Confirm you have the proper access privileges for this database.
  2. Make sure you have the proxy server properly configured.
  3. Check if the database requires a special account.
  4. Check if the database requires a specific web browser.

NOT ACCESSIBLE REMOTELY - Available within the Bloomberg Lab (Rosenfeld Library Room E3.05) on seven workstations.

Requires personal account creation and continuing access requires an Anderson Network logon.

Bloomberg use is limited to current UCLA Anderson School students, faculty, and staff.

Cellphone use is permitted in the Bloomberg Lab to contact the Bloomberg Help Desk.

Note: Current UCLA Anderson students and faculty may also use a Bloomberg terminal available in the office of the Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) Program.

Database Usage

Electronic resources, or databases, are covered by licenses limiting access to academic use by UCLA faculty, staff, and current UCLA students, with some limited to Anderson School use only. Please also read the UCLA Library policy on Appropriate Use of Licensed Electronic Resources. Violations of the University's contractual agreements with electronic resources vendors can and do result in the suspension of access to those resources for the entire UCLA community.
