The Management Development Institute PLUS (MDI +)
An MDI Alumni Event for Managers and Leaders of Health Care Organizations
The Management Development Institute (MDI) is pleased to announce the second MDI Alumni event in East Africa, the MDI Plus (MDI+). MDI+ is a three-day event, which will include relevant speakers on public policy, management workshops, and presentations about the successful implementation of Community Healthcare Improvement Projects (CHIPS) by fellow alumni. In addition to the educational opportunity afforded by MDI+ and other alumni events, such gatherings create a time and place for busy alumni to become reacquainted with classmates, to make new connections, to share information and strategies, and to inspire each other to transform their ideas into reality. MDI+ and other alumni regional events jave become an increasingly important dimension of the MDI experience.
Dates: 11 - 14 April, 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya
Program Fees: A grant from Johnson & Johnson will cover most of the MDI + expenses, including all meals & lodging. All participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.
Program Location & Lodging Arrangements: The MDI + program will be held in the African Medical Research Foundation (AMREF). Participants will reside in a nearby hotel and attend all sessions at AMREF.
