Program Dates, Application Deadline and Fees

In 2013, we will offer one 11 day Health Care Executive Program from July 7 – 17, 2013. 

Community Health Centers (CHC's) may apply as an individual or a 2-Person Team (consisting of the CEO and either the COO, CFO, or CMO, or comparable officials in your organization)

Johnson & Johnson is subsidizing the majority of the program costs (tuition, training materials, lodging and meals) for both the participant and their co-participant. Participants are responsible for a registration fee of $3,500. Participants and co-participants are responsible for their travel expenses to and from Los Angeles. Participants and co-participants are housed on or nearby campus during the program. All classes and workshops take place at the UCLA Anderson School of Management on the beautiful UCLA campus. Special events are held in various locations around Los Angeles.

Selection Criteria:
Thirty-two participants from community health centers will be selected for the program. In addition, there will be a number of slots reserved for participants from AIDS Service Organizations.

There are specific criteria for admission so please carefully read the following before applying:

  • A minimum of 2 years as director, executive director, or comparable official at their current organization.
  • Documentation of leadership involvement in local, state or regional community organization(s) for a minimum of two years.
  • A firm commitment from a co-participant, who may be your organizations Board or Community Coalition Chair, to participate for the final 2 and one-half days of the program to collaborate with the executive of the organization to formulate the CHIP (one co-participant per individual applicant or a two-person team).

If you satisfy the criteria for the program, we invite you to apply for the 2013 UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program. Selection is based on the quality of applications submitted to UCLA. Final acceptance decisions are made by UCLA, which assures that each class is representative of community-based health care organizations nationwide in terms of geographic location, urban/rural mix, size and other demographic factors. Deadline to apply to the program is May 15, 2013.
