"While I had always considered an MBA to be an important step in my career development, prior to becoming a Riordan Fellow, I had done very little to achieve this aspiration. The Riordan Programs helped me to focus on preparing my MBA candidacy by providing support and motivation, a structured program to guide me through the process, and advice from admissions professionals. But of equal importance to admissions prep was the program’s group projects which put a strong focus on teamwork, organization, and leadership, an experience that transferred directly over to the business school environment. The Riordan Programs’ value to my own development as a business professional was such that I was later happy for the opportunity to give back by serving on the alumni association’s board of directors."
