For nearly 28 years, UCLA Anderson School of Management MBA students have served as mentors to The Riordan Programs' participants. The mentoring program connects accomplished MBA students with diverse and talented high school students who will be first-generation college students. The cross-cultural element creates meaningful learning experiences, not only for the Riordan Programs participants but also for the mentors. For both parties, the relationship provides a life changing experience. To date nearly 3,000 UCLA Anderson students have served as mentors or volunteers.

"The mentorship program benefitted me the most because I was able to gain insight on the college admission process and better prepare myself. My mentor put me on the right track to success by giving me suggestions and connecting me a medical student and other people who shared similar interests."
