The Riordan Fellows Alumni Association was established in 1998 to extend continuing benefits to those who have completed the year-long Fellows experience. Since inception, the Association has strived to support the professional, personal, and educational development of its members.

Share your leadership abilities by becoming a part of the Riordan Fellows Alumni Association Board of Directors. The board consists of the following executive positions, each of which serves a two-years term.

President

Responsibilities:
Facilitates all RFAA meetings and events
Represents the RFAA at Riordan Programs Board meetings
Interfaces with the Riordan Programs Executive Director and the Anderson School
Ensures Directors fulfill responsibilities
Serves as RFAA representative to current Riordan Fellow classes
Provides leadership and necessary networking activities
Has ultimate responsibility for Board follow-through
Ensures the RFAA stays true to its mission

Community service projects

Qualifications:
RFAA member
Holds an advance degree, MBA preferred
Leadership, managerial skills

Finance Director

Responsibilities:
Creates annual budget
Creates monthly income/expenses report
Collects and deposits all checks (including membership dues, donations, etc) to RFAA account
Collects RFAA dues
Administers scholarship prize monies
Balances RFAA accounts
Heads Finance committee

Initiatives:
Creations of separate RFAA bank account

Qualifications:
RFAA member
Excellent analytical skills
Experience in finance, economics, or related field preferred

Communications Director

Responsibilities:
Creates all marketing material (signage, press releases, newsletters, etc.)
Manages direct mail (paper or electronic) operations including development and delivery of all mailings and their materials
Designs letter templates (solicitation of funds, thank you letters, etc.) and ensures such letters are sent in a professional and timely manner
Relays surveys, announcements, etc. to all RF alumni
Compiles and delivers RFAA meeting notes/minutes
Collects mail from the RFAA post office box
Heads Communications Committee
Send out quarterly newsletter

Initiatives:

Qualifications:
RFAA member
Excellent written communication skills
Experience in marketing, public relations, communication, journalism, or related field preferred
Media ties helpful

Membership Director

Responsibilities:
Maintains the membership directory
Handles RF email accounts
Keeps each class group's home and email information up-to-date
Adds each graduating RF class to email address list
Manages "phone tree" activities to update membership directory
Creates semi-annual report detailing changes in membership directory
Heads Membership Committee
Sends out semi-annual membership update e-mail

Initiatives:
Update membership database
Draw in lapsed alumni

Qualifications:
RFAA member
Excellent verbal communication skills

Fundraising Director

Responsibilities:
Heads all fundraising efforts
Corporate sponsorship
Member donation
Auctions, sales, etc
Heads Fundraising Committee

Initiatives:
Establish RFAA scholarship
RFAA member
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in fundraising or sales or related field preferred

Event Director

Responsibilities:
Plans and organizes all RFAA events
Monthly social mixers
Workshops
Community service projects
Annual reunion
Creates annual RFAA event calendar
