Management Development for Entrepreneurs

Helping Entrepreneurs Develop Vision and Competence

Management Development for Entrepreneurs (MDE) is an executive training program for entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least three years and want to develop their management skills. MDE was created in 1990 by Dr. Alfred Osborne. A distinctive feature of the MDE is the Business Improvement Project (BIP), a detailed strategic plan on which the entrepreneurs work with current UCLA Anderson students. Discover what MDE can do for your company!

"One year after attending the UCLA Management Development for Entrepreneurs Program, my role has gone from Sr. Engineer being groomed for operations management, to CEO of a women-owned and operated business with my fingers on the pulse of the entire operation. The confidence I gained through attending the Anderson MDE program and the skills I acquired through the business improvement plan process better prepared me to become the CEO of our company."
