What is MDE?
The MDE Program is a 10-day or 4-day certificate program. The 10-day format is offered on the main UCLA campus in the fall of each year. The 4-day format is offered in Silicon Valley in the spring. MDE supplements entrepreneurial vision with entrepreneurial competence. The program enables entrepreneurs to develop essential management skills, strengthen their ability to build and manage effective and profitable organizations, and access the UCLA Anderson MDE network.
Who Should Apply?
Participants are entrepreneurs and/or executives in existing businesses who desire to develop their management skills to enhance their company revenues, profits, and market impact. Their businesses are positioned for growth. Most entrepreneurs have been in business a minimum of 3-5 years with approximately $1,000,000 in revenue and looking for entrepreneurial focused MBA concepts that will help them have more professionally managed organizations.
Tuition
The 10- day program fee is $4,500. The 4-day program fee is $3500. This discounted rate is made possible by corporate sponsors AT&T, Sempra Energy and Union Bank who underwrite program costs. Tuition includes orientation, the opening banquet, more than 60 hours of classroom instruction, MBA consultation, leadership evaluation, computer integrations, books and materials, meals, parking, guest lectures, and the graduation ceremony and banquet.
