Administration. Leading with Distinction.
It is no accident that the UCLA Anderson Global Access Program is one of the world’s most successful field study programs. Since 1998, GAP has been guided by a highly distinguished panel of administrators. Seasoned, smart, successful in both business and education, they set the standard that has made GAP exceptional.

Faculty Advisors. A Sounding Board of Success.
Each GAP team is assigned a faculty advisor whose primary role is to offer counsel on field study work. Unlike previous GAP experiences, the Global Access Program is now student-directed—which means students provide the main force, direction, and decision-making. While faculty advisors help direct the students, they do not manage the interface with the companies.
Many GAP faculty advisors have directly managed and provided consulting services to leading companies around the world. This hands-on experience makes them invaluable as both advisors and teachers during the 6-month GAP project. The classes they teach during this period focus on business plan development, high-technology management, and international entrepreneurship. Additional course material covers: market assessment, competitive analysis, product development, finance, human relations, operations, sales and marketing strategies, venture capital initiation, and strategic partnerships & alliances.
