Internships and new jobs can be nerve-racking. Most of us will be working in a new place, for a new boss and with new co-workers. Not only that, but we are going to have challenging projects to work on and in the back of our minds we know we are being evaluated the entire time we're there. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a few tools to make our new jobs and internships a little easier?
This workshop will teach students a widely applicable framework for navigating new and difficult work situations through personality based management. It will teach students how to best leverage their own personality to:
- Size up a new boss and understand a new work environment quickly
- Fluidly work across flat organizations, and
- Motivate your team (even if you're only on the team for a short time)
