Global Conference

Easton Technology Leadership Easton Technology Leadership Program works with business schools around the world to organize educational programs focused on technology management, the information economy, entrepreneurship and globalization.
Students from management programs at these schools, often accompanied by faculty, come to UCLA Anderson to attend the programs. The seminars may include topics such as Global Competition, Corporate Innovation, Design Management, Global Supply Chains, Digital Content Management, Ecommerce, Social Networks, Information Intensive Services, Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Funding. Many UCLA Anderson Faculty including Professors Reza Ahmadi, George Abe, Anand Bodapati, Felipe Caro, Sebastian Edwards, Bob Foster, Gonzalo Freixes, Uday Karmarkar, David Lewin, Peter Pao, Guillaume Roels, Robert Spich and Chris Tang have presented sessions in these programs.

The ETLP hosted the Korea University Business School Global EMBA International Residency Program. Professor Hojung Shin of KUBS accompanied the group. This 13-day program featured seminars on technology and international management, including two company visits.

JUNE 2013

The KUBS Executive MBA group accompanied by their faculty director, Professor Hosun Rhim, visited UCLA Anderson. The program included lectures by faculty from Anderson and a visit to RKS Design Studio, where CEO Ravi Sawhney addressed the group.
JUNE 2013

The ETLP hosted a group of SDA Bocconi Global Executive MBA students from Milano. Professors Maurizio Poli and Thanos Papadimitriou accompanied the group. Along with the lectures by Anderson faculty, the program also included a venture capital panel moderated by Professor George Abe, and an entrepreneurs panel moderated by Vandana Mangal, Ph.D.

JULY, 2013

The ETLP hosted the Supply Chain Thought Leaders Roundtable on July 10-12, 2013. The SCTL Roundtable is a highly distinguished group of scholars from renowned universities around the world, including Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Wharton, UC Berkeley, Columbia University, Cornell University, London Business School, Purdue University, University of North Carolina, INSEAD and others. Many of the members in the group are chaired professors, and several are directors of large centers, former or current deans and deputy deans. The group usually meets once per year in a selected location around the world. ETLP was pleased to have this rare opportunity to host this group. The Roundtable was an opportunity to showcase the strength of Anderson’s faculty in this research area and to reinforce the ETLP presence among this distinguished group.
