The Easton Technology Leadership Program has been created as a result of a gift from James and Phyllis Easton; Jim Easton is a graduate of the UCLA School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Jim found himself running his father's company, Easton Sports, Inc. at a relatively young age after his father passed away. He describes the learning curve from an engineer to a manager and leader as challenging. Jim's gift to UCLA Anderson is intended to help build the managerial and leadership skills of students with engineering and technology backgrounds or interests, to make the transition from engineer to business leader or entrepreneur easier. The Easton Program is being offered at the UCLA Anderson School of Management to address Jim's vision, and is currently in its fourth year.
