360-degree feedback also known as ‘multi-rater feedback' is feedback from people all around the individual.
This exercise enhances individual growth and development and strengthens a person's effectiveness as a leader in business and is expected to have impacts in all interaction areas including at school, at work and at home.
As part of the 360-degree feedback, you will also be responsible for:
- inputting raters emails into the system by a certain date (TBA)
- personally notifying the raters about your participation in the program, asking for their assistance in filling out the assessment (takes raters approx. 20 minutes)
- participation in a one-on-one coaching session to receive feedback from the 360 and to choose 1-2 behaviors as part of a leadership development plan
For all participants in the 360, feedback will be gathered from confidential data from raters you choose (could be your boss, subordinates, colleagues, Anderson teammates and/or family members). The feedback will be used to develop an individualized profile of how you are perceived as a leader against leadership best practices. This information will be shared with you alone and will help you select a developmental area to focus on during the program.
All ETLP students are required to take the 360 ONCE while they are with the ETLP program. Seats are limited so signup early. If you signup for the 360 this quarter, please plan to attend one of the following information sessions. They are offered on
(i) Wednesday, Jan 20, 11:45am-12:45pm in Room B313 and
(ii) Saturday, Jan 23, 12:45pm-1:45pm in Room D310
