What is the eFAN?

UCLA Electronic Financial Aid Notification (eFAN)

The Electronic Financial Aid Notification (eFAN) is the official notice of your financial aid eligibility for the 2009-10 academic year. The eFAN will be available after July 1, 2009. To be eligible to borrow federal loans, you must be either a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

To retrieve your eFAN at UCLA:

  1. Go to www.fao.ucla.edu
  2. Select MyFAO
  3. Log In
  4. Accept, decline, or adjust your Federal Stafford and/or Federal Graduate PLUS student loan offer(s)
  5. Fill out a Federal Stafford and/or Federal Graduate PLUS loan application online
  6. Under Self Reported Awards, please indicate any company sponsorship or reimbursement for 09-10 academic school year
  7. If you wish additional information about Federal Stafford and/or Federal Graduate PLUS loans, go to www.fao.ucla.edu and select "Publications" from the menu
