Ambassador Rockwell Schnabel will deliver a talk at UCLA Anderson School of Management as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series. He will discuss diplomatic niceties as he assesses the policies of both Brussels and Washington conveying the European Union’s economic might, which has raised the organization close to the status of a superpower. |

Ambassador Schnabel was the United States ambassador to the European Union from 2001 to 2005. He previously served as acting secretary and deputy secretary of Commerce, and ambassador to Finland. A longtime businessman, he is one of the founding partners of Trident Capital, a California-based venture capital firm. |
