UCLA Anderson Hosts CrEAte Conference

Full-day event for entrepreneurs includes networking, panels, TED-style talks and more

LOS ANGELES (April 26, 2016) -UCLA Anderson School of Management is hosting its 31st entrepreneurship conference, CrEAte, on Friday, April 29, 2016. The annual event is designed to showcase UCLA Anderson's leadership position in the area of entrepreneurship, further the school's goals of promoting entrepreneurship and fostering innovation, provide a rich learning experience for entrepreneurs, students and business professional and give participants an opportunity to share valuable insights on current topics in entrepreneurship, critical business skills, and emerging opportunities.

In partnership with the High Tech Business Association (HTBA), the Entrepreneur Association has helped the conference grow into one of the largest MBA student-organized events on the West Coast. This year’s CrEAte conference continues its tradition of inviting students, alumni, faculty, and the local community to learn from and network with leading entrepreneurs and investors.

This year’s keynote speakers include Ramit Varma and Jake Neuberg, co-founders of Revolution Prep. Zarik Boghossian, co-founder of Wovenmedia and Zema Enterprises, will provide closing remarks.

In addition to TED-style talks, panel discussions in this year’s conference will focus on emerging trends and opportunities across a diverse set of industries, such as healthcare, law, fintech, entrepreneurship, and tech investing, among others. Panelists include executives from e2o Health, Treehouse Partners, Remitright, Tech Coast Angels, Watertower Group, TenOneTen Ventures, Clocktower Technology Ventures, Asolva, Home Exchance, UnitedHealth Care and CONNECT.
