Seminar featuring Lynne B. Sagalyn, Professor of Real Estate Development and Planning, University of Pennsylvania - Wharton SchoolWHAT: The Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate, The UCLA Department of Urban Planning & The Ralph and Goldy Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies invite you to attend this seminar that will highlight the revealing politics and policy contributing to the successful redevelopment project of New York City's 42nd Street district.
WHO: Professor Sagalyn conducts research in urban redevelopment, political economy of preservation, real estate development finance, politics and policy of the built environment, real estate securitization and real estate industry structure. She is currently working on a project involving the politics of rebuilding the World Trade Center under a grant from the Russell Sage Foundation and is conducting an independent analysis of New York City's development and zoning plan for Hudson Yards. She serves on a variety of Boards including United Dominion Realty Trust, J.P. Morgan U.S. Real Estate Income and Growth Fund, Goldman Family Enterprises, J.F.K. School of Government, Harvard University and CityFeet.
