Bryan G. Stockton, who joined the company in 2000, became Mattel's sixth CEO in 2012 and was most recently named chairman of the board earlier this month. Previously, Stockton held several other roles within the company, including chief operating officer, president of international, and executive vice president of business planning and development.

Prior to joining Mattel, Stockton served as president and chief executive officer of Basic Vegetable Products (BVP), a privately owned company. Before joining BVP, Stockton held a variety of positions during his 22-year tenure with Kraft Foods, Inc.
