UCLA saw 32% jump in full-time MBA program applications in past year

Jessica Kimball '15UCLA Anderson's entering class of 2016 is one of the most competitive yet. Applications to the full-time MBA program increased by 32% for the 2013-2014 admissions cycle while other schools have experienced volumes that are flattening or declining. This jump can be attributed to multiple factors including the reduction in number of required essays and recommendations as well as increased outreach efforts on multiple fronts. In particular, an ambassador program made up of 50+ current students helped to increased engagement with admits in person during campus visits and online through social media and blogs.
