Voices an Update from the Dean

Dear Faculty, Staff, Students and Friends:

Diversity — of ideas, experiences, voices, backgrounds and identities — is a key priority for all of us at UCLA Anderson and a key principle of our strategic plan. Not only does diversity broaden and benefit each of us individually, we know that it creates tangible benefits for society and for businesses, including for the
bottom line.

Voices an Update from the Dean

This month, we’re highlighting diversity at Anderson as we celebrate Black History Month, our Velocity Women's Leadership Summit and LGBTQ+ Awareness Week, as we enjoy the second annual Anderson International Film Festival and look forward to Women’s History Month in March. You'll find news about all that and more in this edition of VOICES.

And what better time than now for a preview of a new initiative from our Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, aimed at helping Anderson become more diverse and inclusive? You'll find that here, too.

I invite you to read the selections and let me know if they resonate with you.

Alfred E. Osborne, Jr., Ph.D.
Interim Dean and Professor
