Competition Overview

The Global Business Leadership Competition (GBLC) is a two-day case competition featuring MBA students from 16 top business schools from around the world. School teams will compete in three case modules focused on leadership issues in the global environment. This competition will address dilemmas faced by global leaders in any capacity by engaging student teams in interactive, task-oriented scenarios that simulate leadership challenges. Purpose
The purpose of the GBLC is to engage student leaders around the world in a broad dialogue on global leadership. The event will provide a forum for students to learn from each other while showcasing and stretching their own leadership skills and interacting with global business leaders and academics. It is also an opportunity for faculty advisors from each school to share and exchange knowledge.

Prizes
The following prizes* will be awarded to top scoring teams.

  • First Prize: $25,000
  • Second Prize: $10,000
  • Third Prize: $5,000

* Prizes represent pre-tax amounts.
