Wesley Loy, 41, is a native of Strawberry Plains, Tenn. He has been a business reporter for the Anchorage Daily News since May 1999. He previously worked as a reporter for the Knoxville (Tenn.) News Sentinel and the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel. He has a master’s degree in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi (1996), and a bachelor’s degree in communications journalism from the University of Tennessee (1984).
