Steve Fainaru

Steve Fainaru worked for 11 years at the Boston Globe; during that time he covered the Boston Red Sox, served as New York Bureau Chief and Latin America Bureau chief and worked as an investigative reporter. Hew as hired at Washington Post in 2000 and has worked as an investigative reporter in sports and covered civil liberties and the war on terrorism. He is currently working as a correspondent in the Post's Baghdad Bureau. He is the co-author of "The Duke of Havana: Cuba, Baseball and the Search for the American Dream" (Villard, 2001).
