Stanley Holmes

Stanley Holmes has been a BusinessWeek national correspondent for three years. He is based in the magazine's Seattle bureau, responsible for Boeing and other Northwest companies. Before joining BusinessWeek, the 44-year-old Seattle native has worked for The Los Angeles Times, The Seattle Times, The Rocky Mountain News in Denver and The Chicago Tribune. Holmes began his journalism career at The Wenatchee World in Eastern Washington and has spent nearly 20 years covering everything from government institutions to global corporations. He has been the recipient of numerous local, regional and national journalism awards. Holmes earned a master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor's in English from Western Washington University. Holmes is married with two children.
