Russell Hubbard, a Bloomberg News energy reporter in the Princeton, New Jersey bureau, joined the company in 2001. Hubbard covers power producers, Midwest utilities and has worked on projects that examine the debt policies of energy companies. Hubbard graduated from Concordia College in Portland Oregon with a B.A. in English in 1989. He spent seven years in Alabama before joining Bloomberg, four with the weekly Birmingham Business Journal, and three with the 155,000-daily Birmingham News.
