Robin Skeete
Robin Skeete was born in Brookline Mass on October 21, 1950, but grew up in Queens New York, went to Newtown High School and then on to Staten Island Community College. He started at CBS News in 1972 as a shipping clerk, and quickly moved up to a Broadcast Assistant, working in the News and sports department. After a few years Skeete became an Assistant Sports Producer. At the time film was on its way out and video tape in, the new technology caught his eye and he began learning it, earned my first class FCC license, and worked in outside stations to learn every aspect of televison productions. Skeete was made an editor at CBS News in 1980, soon after he came to Sunday Morning, where he has stayed for the last 23 years. Skeete has been able to work with all the Greats in TV News - Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Charles Kuralt, and now Charles Osgood. Who could ask for anything more?
