Peter Lattman

Peter Lattman is a reporter for The Wall Street Journal covering private equity for the newspaper.

Prior to his current beat, he was a legal affairs reporter for the Journal and was the lead writer for WSJ.com's Law Blog.

Prior to joining the Journla in 2005, Mr. Lattman was a reporter for Forbes Magazine. Previously, from 1998to 2003, he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., Inc., where he was a vice president in its investment management division.

Mr. Lattman began his career as a lawyer, working in the litigation grouop at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel from 1996 to 1998.

Mr. Lattman received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College and then his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

Mr. Lattman resides in New York City with his wife and three children.
