Matthew Bishop is business editor of The Economist. Until September 2002, he was The Economist’s New York Bureau Chief. He has filled various jobs, reporting mostly on economics, business and finance, since joining The Economist in 1991.
He is the author of “The Pocket Economist”, The Economist’s official guide to economics, and has co-authored three books for the Oxford University Press.
Before joining The Economist he was on the faculty of the London Business School, which he joined after studying at Oxford University.
