Marek Strzelecki

Marek Strzelecki joined Dow Jones Newswires in August 2001 as a Warsaw-based reporter. For the previous three years he had worked as a reporter and acting bureau chief for Bridge News in Warsaw. For most of the 1990s, Marek covered Poland's parliament as a reporter for Polish public radio, and later served as editor and newsroom chief for private radio network Super FM. Marek studied psychology at the University of Warsaw. His wife, Maryanne, works for the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw. They have two children, Alexander, 9, and Hannah, now almost 3. Marek's oldest son, Jan, is 17.
