Malinda Adams is a producer for CBS News in Atlanta, GA. She joined CBS News in 2001 and produces stories mainly for the CBS Evening News, but has contributed stories to CBS Sunday Morning, 48 Hours and The Early Show. Adams received an Emmy in 2002 for her story on the DC Sniper Case and the only living survivor. Before joining CBS, Adams worked for FOX News Channel. Among the other major stories Adams has cover are the 2000 election stalemate in Florida, John F. Kennedy Jr.’s death and numerous hurricanes. Adams is a 1983 graduate of Auburn University earning a BA degree. She grew up in Greensboro, AL.
