Loren Steffy is the Dallas bureau chief for Bloomberg News and a senior writer for Bloomberg Markets magazine. Steffy opened Bloomberg's Dallas office in 1992, and since that time has covered companies, legal issues, technology and the economy. Before joining Bloomberg, Steffy worked for the Dallas Times Herald and other newspapers in the Dallas area. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Texas A&M University. Steffy serves on the board of directors for the Press Club of Dallas and the Texas A&M Former Journalism Students Association and is a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors.
