Lingling Wei

Lingling Wei is a special writer for Dow Jones Newswires in New York, covering financial-services firms including mortgage lenders and credit-card companies. Since joining Dow Jones in 2001, she also has covered bankruptcy and accounting, and originated coverage of the financial advisor and consumer finance sectors.

Before coming to the U.S. in 1999, she worked as a Shanghai-based business correspondent for China Daily. Lingling lives in New York City with her husband, Limin Huang, a nanotechnology scientist.
