Liam Pleven

Liam Pleven is a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, covering the insurance industry.

Prior to joining the Journal in December 2005, Mr. Pleven worked for Newsday, where he served in a number of positions, including Moscow Bureau Chief. He has reported from more than a dozen foreign countries, including Afghanistan and Iraq. While at Newsday, Mr. Pleven was part of the team that won the Pulitzer Prize for deadline reporting for coverage of the crash of TWA Flight 800.

Mr. Pleven is a graduate of Swarthmore College.  He currently resides in New York City.
