Lauren Barack is a freelance journalist who has been published in Newsweek, Parenting, MSN Money, the St. Petersburg Times, USA Today, The Independent (London) and Wired among other periodicals. Her writing and producing credits have appeared on MTV, TNT, VH-1, Comedy Central and PBS, in subjects ranging from the Golden Age of comedy to the Presidential election. Barack also worked in Nestle's test kitchen where she perfected her skills baking the ultimate chocolate chip cookie. She now lives in New York with her husband, 6-year-old daughter and a school of fish.
