Jenny Strasburg is a reporter for The Wall Street Journal in the Money & Investing bureau and is based in New York.  She covers hedge-funds, other private investment funds and their clients as well as Wall Street. 

Prior to joining the Journal in March 2008, Ms. Strasburg had been a staff writer for Bloomberg News in New York from mid-2006 to 2008.  She also worked as a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, the Corpus Christi Caller-Times and the San Angelo Standard-Times. 

Raised in New Mexico and born in Kansas City, Mo., Ms. Strasburg earned a bachelor's degree with honors in Journalism from New Mexico State University.  In 2006 she completed the Columbia University Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Economics and Business Journalism.
