Jeffrey A. Roberts is The Denver Post's computer-assisted reporting editor and has worked at the newspaper since 1984. He was a Post reporter for 13 years before becoming an assistant city editor and starting the newspaper's computer-assisted reporting program. He previously worked as a reporter for the Fort Myers (Fla.) News-Press and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
Roberts has edited or contributed data analysis to award-winning stories on teens serving life in prison, military justice, emergency room diversions, child abuse deaths, a county's lack of fiscal controls, unscrupulous foreclosure investors and the most polluted zip code in Colorado.
