Harvy Lipman is the director of special projects at The Chronicle of Philanthropy, where he has worked for the past six years. He has more than 30 years of journalism experience, having worked previously as Projects Editor and State Editor at the Times Union in Albany, N.Y., as well as at CNN, WJLA-TV in Washington, and the Valley Advocate in Springfield, Mass. Mr. Lipman has won numerous journalism honors, including twice being cited by Investigative Reporters and Editors in its annual compilation of the nation's top investigative stories. He is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism and the State University of New York at Buffalo.
