Hal Lux

Until February 2003, Hal Lux was a senior editor at Institutional Investor magazine.  He wrote extensively on technology, taxes, hedge funds and other money management topics.  He left in February to become director of research at Paloma Partners, a Greenwich, CT money manager.  He remains a senior contributing editor at II.

He won the 2003 Overseas Press Club of America Morton Frank Award for best business reporting from abroad in magazines for “Nationalities of Convenience,” which was included in “The Best Business Stories of the Year 2003” published by Vintage Books.

Lux received a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
