Gerilyn Curtin

Gerilyn Curtin is a production assistant in the Brian Ross Investigative Unit at ABC News.  She assists Brian Ross and his team of producers with investigative pieces for ABC News shows World News Tonight with Peter Jennings,Good Morning America, 20/20 and Primetime.

Ms. Curtin has helped cover several major events over the past couple years including the War with Iraq and the September 11th attack of the World Trade Center.  As an intern, Curtin filmed exclusive events at the 2000 presidential conventions for the WNT series “The Money Trail.”

With the investigative team, Curtin received an Emmy award and Sigma Delta Chi award for coverage of the 9/11 terror attacks.   For ABC’s coverage of the first 96 hours of the attacks, she received an Alfred I. duPont award and a George Foster Peabody award.

Curtin joined ABC in 2001.  She is a graduate of the the Park School of Communication at Ithaca College.
