Finbarr Flynn

Finbarr Flynn, a Bloomberg News reporter, is responsible for coverage of commercial banks in Japan. Finbarr, a University of Limerick graduate, joined Bloomberg news in 2006 as a real estate news reporter after working for 5 years with one of Japan's largest construction companies, Takenaka Corporation. Finbarr went to Japan in 1996 on a Japanese government scholarship and studied for three years at Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo before beginning his reporting career with Asian Financial Intelligence in 2000. Finbarr has a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Limerick in Ireland and a Bachelor's Degree in Services Marketing from Carlow Institute of Technology. Finbarr is proficient in Japanese and German.
