Liz Rappaport is a reporter at The Wall Street Journal in the Money & Investing bureau where she covers credit markets and works on investigative projects. She joined the newspaper in January of 2008 after writing a markets column for TheStreet.com for almost two years.
Prior to that, she worked as a bond markets reporter for Dow Jones Newswires, where she won the William R. Clabby Dow Jones Newswire Award for reporting on complex financial instruments. She also spent two years as a reporter for Institutional Investor. Liz Rappaport's early days in New York were spent working for book publisher Grove Atlantic Press and for the Internet research firm, Jupiter Communications.
She has a B.A. in English literature from Williams College, Williamstown, Mass., and a master's in journalism and mass communication from New York University.
