David Evans

David Evans is a senior writer for Bloomberg Markets magazine, based in Los Angeles. A graduate of the University of Southern California Law Center, Evans spent five years prosecuting fraud for the U.S. government as a trial attorney for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, before joining Bloomberg in 1992. In 2002, Evan's investigation of stock manipulation by arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, won enterprise reporting awards from the Society of American Business Writers and Editors and the Los Angeles Press Club. In 2003, Evans' investigation of the lack of transparency in pension accounting won a first place award from the Medill School of Journalism and the Los Angeles Press Club. Evans enjoys biking on the beach path in Venice, California.
