Charles Gasparino is a senior special writer in the New York bureau of The Wall Street Journal. He covers Wall Street for the paper's Money & Investing section.
Prior to joining the Journal in September 1995, Mr. Gasparino was a reporter for the following publications. He began working for the Tampa (Fla.) Tribune in September 1989 and moved to Bond World in New York City as a reporter in May 1990. He became a reporter for the Bond Buyer in May 1992 and spent a few months at New York Newsday in mid-1995. Before covering his current beat for the Journal, he covered mutual funds and municipal finance.
A New York native, Mr. Gasparino received a bachelor's degree in literature and communications from Pace University in New York City. He has a master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia
