Charles Fishman

Charles Fishman has been a senior editor at Fast Company for three years. Fishman was a metro reporter for the Washington Post, and then was part of the team that covered the space shuttle Challenger accident for the Post. Fishman was a writer, and then managing editor, of the (now defunct) Sunday magazine of the Orlando Sentinel, Florida magazine. And just before going to work for Fast Company, he was assistant managing editor at the Raleigh News & Observer, in charge of features, business, and sports coverage.

At Fast Company, Fishman has written about a wide-range of topics, from sewing men's underwear to the team that writes the software that flies the space shuttle. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his journalist wife, two children, and one black Labrador retriever.
