Carrie Teegardin is an investigative reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She grew up in rural Ohio and graduated from Duke University. Before joining the newspaper in 1987, she was a staff writer for the Tallahassee Democrat in Florida. Teegardin has won 2001 Cox Newspapers, Georgia Associated Press and Georgia Press Association awards for investigative reporting and public service. She’s also won a 1999 National Headliner award for business reporting.
