Carol S. Remond joined the “In The Money” team at Dow Jones Newswires in May 2000 after a five-year stint covering the foreign debt markets for Dow Jones Newswires. Since becoming an “In the Money” columnist, she has been focusing most of her writing on Wall Street's underbelly, attempting to shine light on some of the intrigue surrounding small-cap companies.

Remond has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Dijon, France, and graduated in 1987 from Miami University in Oxford, OH, with a master degree in political science.
